I do enjoy the comedy of welcoming redditors to the platform with open arms like shhh you'll be safe here and then our house immediately bursts into flames behind us
Anyone who says that the writers and actors who are currently striking are being “unreasonable” can fuck right off.
These Hollywood executives have more money than they know what to do with, they can afford to pay their workers, but they’re not going to do that because they think owning a bunch of mansions and yachts is more important.
Fuck these assholes and anyone who’s dumb enough to side with them.
[ID:digital drawing, three panel comic.
The first panel shows person with short brown hair and yellow t-shirt saying "Y'know, all things considered.
The second panel shows person with long blond hair smiling and saying "hold up. did you really consider all things"'
The third panel shows the first person again- There is purple fire around him, his hair is flowing up, his eyes have cosmos in them and there is third eyllow eye opening on his forehead. He says "Yes."

“That’s why high school, or a crappy job, or any other restrictive circumstance can be dangerous: They make dreams too painful to bear. To avoid longing, we hunker down, wait, and resolve to just survive. Great art becomes a reminder of the art you want to be making, and of the gigantic world outside of your small, seemingly inescapable one. We hide from great things because they inspire us, and in this state, inspiration hurts.”

Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?
It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
It’s July 20th. That’s the day of the moon landing. Next year is going to be the 54th anniversary. I’m ordering astronaut shaped cookie cutters on Etsy and I’m going to have a goddamn potluck. You’re all invited.
Hey. Hey. Tumblr. Ides of March ppl. We can do this
This is a scheduled post for two days before the anniversary of the moon landing. Please get your moon themed items and foods sorted now in anticipation.
